They never wore a crown of gold, Yet gave a warmth the world can't hold Their tired eyes still softly gleam Guardians of energy child's dream Through storm and sun through joy and pain They lose,yet some how always gain Each wrinkle carved a tale of grace Each smile-a light time can't erase They built the road where dreams could run Then stepped a side when we'd begun Their silence spoke of love so deep That words could never climb it's keep No temple stands so pure ,so true As hearts that beat for me and you
