The moon so big and bright, With a smiling face each night. It shines on us when the sun goes home, After the full moon, what a lovely tone! Each day it seems to shrink away, A girl asks, “Why so small today? Did you miss your food or forget your milk? Once your glow was soft as silk.” A constant friend in the sky so true, The night is brighter because of you.
