I cradle you in my still arms, each drop of mine becomes your song. You ran through mountains, chasing the unknown, forgetting I waited, still and alone. I let my happiness drift to you. Billions of poems, for you and the ocean. Though I remain unseen, unsung, I would never complain. For my joy lies in giving you joy, in seeing your smile, full and radiant. When the ocean takes you in, my love flows quietly beside- A Lake full of you. You, the River; I the Lake.
