I wrote your name on the ocean’s skin, But the waves returned it, again and again. The moonlight kept our secret near, Yet every dawn made you disappear. Your laughter lives in the hollow night, A ghost of warmth, a stolen light. I hold the silence, sharp and true, For every echo still calls for you. Love was a flame I could not save— Now I bloom like a rose on my own grave.
