O mother draped in sacred soil, your rivers sing, your forests toil. from snow-capped peaks to ocean's shore but each grain of you, I do adore you bled but never bent your knee, you wept but stayed forever free. they came with chains, they came with lies, but could not dim your endless skies. you hold the cry of every child, The warrior's oath, the sage so mild. your breath is wind, your soul is flame, your every child chants your name. your soil bore the steps of kings, your air still echoes freedom's wings. and though the thief wore crown and steal, you never bowed , you made them kneel.
