He kissed her tides with morning light, Then drifted back to endless height. She held his echo in her swell, A love too vast for words to tell. They met where dusk began to bleed, A fleeting touch, a silent need. She begged the stars to let him stay, But winds pulled him the other way. His colors faded from her shore, She sang his name, he spoke no more. The moon grew pale with every sigh, As salt replaced the lullaby. No storm could shake what they became Two souls apart, yet still aflame. She waits in waves, still whispering his name...
