Saving the world ?!

There are too many things in the world that need to be saved, too many hearts that started a race as one but now the pieces are lying everywhere I see. I may not look at them, I may not pick them up and find which one meets which, which one fits where, and which ones are the last ones remaining. Like, there are too many songs that we need to make playlists out of, too many metaphors that need to sleep in the beds of our poems, too many hands that need to be held. And I have fought those battles that are already lost-for others!
