Caged Wings

Submitted By: Atharva C P

----------------------------------

Beneath the weight of ancient chains, Dreams dissolve, yet pain remains. The heart once bold, now silenced stands, Bound by rules and hardened hands. Emotions locked in muted cells, Where hollow chimes are broken bells. Orthodox walls, so tall, so cold, Smother stories that stay untold. Yet deep within, a fire ignites, A quiet rage, a spark of light. For dreams suppressed will one day rise, And tear the cage to claim the skies. So let us dare, let voices sound, And break the chains that tightly wound.
